Joining us will be Dr. Joy Bensiger, Online Instruction Specialist at the Center for Online Teaching and Learning at Governors State University, who will talk about the design and development experience.

Dr. Joy Bensiger was Online Instruction Specialist at the Center for Online Teaching and Learning at Governors State University. His holds a PhD in Education Technology from the University of Cincinnati (2011 – Specialized in Educational and Digital Technology and Research), and a Master of Instructional Design & Technology from University of Cincinnati (2001 – Specialization in Instructional Design and Technology and Research), a Master’s in Business (Commerce) from The American College, Madurai, India (1993 – Specialization in Accounting and Finance), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from St. University of Kamaraj, Madurai, India (1991 – Specialization in Accounting and Finance).
Dr. Bensiger has been working for over 10 years in emerging technology and research, online course development, and guiding curriculum design and content development for eLearning courses. He joined Governor’s State in 2010 after serving as Manager/Emerging Technology and Research Specialist in the Office of Information Technologies at Indiana State University. He previously served in senior instructional design for several private sector institutions.
